Firstly,I wouldn’t call them democracies.
Secondly given the amount of aid the USA has provided Iran then they are entitled to question how it’s being spent. If Iran is going to continue to oppress women, homosexuals and those with even a small difference of opinion then that flies in the face of what the USA stands for.
As for NK, it poses a threat to US aligned countries such as Japan and SK. If Indonesia started firing missiles over Darwin and landing them in thre desert then I’m sure we would be begging for the US’s help.
Had to look up the claim of so much aid.
Turns out the US gives Iran $3.4 million p.a. They really deserve a seat at the table with that large a contribution.

Thanks for the link, it was pretty interesting. Shows where the world could be going on this front, its kind of a combination of Minority Report and a psychological version of Gattaca. The ability to influence people with targeted advertising is only going to grow.
Of course North Korea is not a democracy, and while Iran has elections they are not that free, so I wouldn’t call the farkers democracies either. But of course you made no comment about all those other places that Trump fully supports with billions of bucks who are worse than North Korea and Iran.
PP2 bet me to it, but USA gives fark all to Iran and in fact still has embargoes against them. I can’t sell my product to Iran, as the USA will fark me over it I try to do it. I went to Iran before the Shah was deposed and it was a very beautiful place with wonderful Universities and gorgeous women. It is slowly returning to this.
And Trippa, I am not convinced that North Korea poses a threat to anyone. I often go to South Korea and my mates there are not concerned about the Dear Leader, they are more concerned about trying to help their relatives who live there.
