Chopper is part of the fabric of society. The patchwork is many colours and designs - Some are good and some are bad.
It would be a boring life if there was only good in society.
???
EVERYONE is part of the fabric of society, except those decrepit old Japanese guys hiding on islands in the Pacific cos they never got the word to surrender in 1945.
When I die, I seriously ■■■■■■■ hope that someone, somewhere has something better to say about me that 'he was part of the fabric of society'.
Pedophile priests, Hitler, and Jack the ■■■■■■■ Ripper were all 'part of the fabric of society'. It seems like an awfully low hurdle to clear.
My personal ethic is not to speak ill of the dead. So with Chopper, despite his obvious indiscretions I will still acknowledge his latter life changes and his public stance against the major players in the gangland wars. He was after all a human being, with family and children. A misguided youth, absolutely!! An unacceptable notoriety? No doubt. A man who learned to live and remain in moral society? He did this. RIP.
Clearly never met the mutt.
Have you met him?
Too many times.
Collections?
Nothing so romantic. Unfortunate living arrangements and friendships. I knew the old (as in young) chopper, not the latter day warm and fuzzy, tv friendly version. I'm not a bloke who generally wishes harm on others, but for him ..... I hope it took a while, I hope it was excruciatingly painful, and I hope the big red dude with the horns puts him straight to work as a urinal. An absolute ■■■■■■■ mutt. A dangerous, unpredictable, untrustworthy, psychopathic mutt at that. A leg lifting, hydrant user.

Dude, you must and utterly need to get guidance on some of your posts.
Its a fact that we live in a society that is a patchwork of different colors and designs.
This is what make society interesting.
A naive person sees the world in this way.
Your position might change when that "interesting" visits you one day.
He's essentially correct. It's just that some things are interesting more in the way that syphillis is interesting, or that Pol Pot was interesting, than in a good way.

Agree that interesting can cover many things without needing to include murderers.

I asked the question - Was he Chopper ever charged with Murder - I can't find any record - Though he claims he killed 29.

The only one he was ever suspected of was the one he got acquitted for due to self-defence.
I haven't really been following this thread, mainly because I don't really care two bits about the bloke. It seems to me that the guy was just a common criminal who for some reason found favour with the media as his outwardly tough guy image impressed some people, farked if I know why. Anyway, this clip is relevant...kinda
I think he endeared himself to the public because of his reputation, rightly ot wrongly, of targeting crooks and leaving regular people alone. Have no idea if this is true or not but it has been reinforced through his books and that movie.
A bit like how that Dexter tv character seems to be popular. Targets crooks. Can't be too bad if he targets crooks, right?...
The guy was a complete and utter cattle dung artist who reveled in his own publicity and propaganda, and the dumb media, and a lot of similar small minded members of the public believed(s) his tripe.
