Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness-What Songs Make you Cry

My dad did a studio recording when he young, singing this song, and when we were kids we used to always put the cassette on and sing along. It was true for his life as he worked so hard and never seemed to have time to do the things he loved.
He passed away too young and my brother sang this and played it on guitar at his funeral.

I hope you like hard rock/metal haha.
As they’re all either ballads by metal bands or actual metal songs.
MIA is probably the heaviest from those I listed.

It’s usually more about the music for me, even if there are lyrics.

The Ben Folds song was written about a time when Ben’s high school girlfriend had an abortion. Amazing track
