Don’t need to defend him.
If they’re treating you like Barry Bonds, it’s the ultimate respect.
Those “unintentional” bases on balls were probably three-quarters intentional…give him nothing to hit and then if you fall behind, give him the base.
Make someone else beat you.
I do rember once they gave Bonds an IBB with the bases loaded. Obviously the opposition held a lead of more than one run, but just giving one run rather than 4.

Insanely good player.
Could very well be held in the same regard as Bonds when all is said and done.

Bats not working too bad at all, equal second in runs scored to the Cubs. Pitching has been solid, even with Price having a slow start. JBJ has been a real key, he is such a great fielder they only really need him to bat ok, he’s been way better then that so far.

Weak as ■■■■ by the Rangers, was the 7th and final time they play each other this season, they waited until his last at bat then hit him. Too many weak little babies in MLB and that was just pathetic, hope Odor gets a good suspension. Hit him with a big punch right on his chain and still didn’t put him down.
Sick of these pathetic pitches who send down trash, it gets put over their head and they get upset about it and the hitter enjoying it. You don’t want them to celebrate, maybe pitch better.
