Mlb 2018

Ta, boys. Totally unexpected. Expected the Nats or the Phils to come storming over the top, Both of them had tooled up dramatically over the offseason, and in Philadelphia’s case, looted the Mets at trade time. Braves just picked up a couple of journeymen pitchers from the Orioles…no big names like Arrieta.

Frustrating at time, particularly with the pitching, but it’s a very young team with just the 2 catchers and Nick Markakis over 30 amongst the starting position players.

Red Sox had a reliever I hadn’t even heard of from Paw Tucket pitch 80+ today and still went 4-3 down in extras. Resting up for next week.

Cuevas pitched a week or two back.

Must have missed that.

106 wins. Most in Red Sox history

Mariners have their best season in years and it is good enough for 3rd in the Division.

Giants fire the GM, Bobby Evans. Hard to stay in the job after two losing seasons and (in hindsight) some poor free-agent signings. That said, Evans has been a part of the Giants since 1994 so should also get some credit for the glory years. Really interested to see who we hire next. Will he be young? Analytical? Data nerd?

Yankees hammer the Sox to get the home field for the WC game

And set a new record for HRs in a season. 265 and counting.

Bronx Bombers indeed.

100 win season and we could be out with 1 poor game

Verlander for the first time in his career 4 x 10k games in a row!

Cole And verlander 250k’s

think we are in a better position pitching wise then last year!

Giants are putting an exclamation mark on the worst month in their entire history (NY or SF). Losing 9-0 in the top of the 4th to the Dodgers. We will likely finish this month 5-21. Yikes.

Couple of tie break games coming up to decide the NL

Surely Mookie Betts is the MVP?

What a season. NYY 100 wins and have to play in Wild Card game…whilst Indians got in with same amount of Wins at 3rd place Tampa!!

Red Sox finish the season in style 10-2 at home…see you Friday for Game 1 once As v NYY is over!

Nah, Kris Davis

SO for Davis is high, no stolen Basses.

SB and WAR massive for Mookie plus his Average is way up.

Mookie is a far more efficient player and far better in the field as well.

Krush just hits dingers.
