I think theyâre two years ahead of expectations. Iâd be pushing for them to grab a catcher (preferably Realmuto) and a starting pitcher and a short relief pitcher.
Theyâre projecting to bring in 3B Austin Riley next year too. Camargo is a useful utility so keep him, ditto Culberson. The late season hitting imports in Duda and Duvall will be elsewhere, and Iâd expect Flaherty to be gone too. But the three outfield spots in Acuña, Inciarte and Markakis and SS Swanson, 2B Albies and 1B F Freeman are pretty set. C Tyler Flowers has been resigned so expect Kurt Suzuki to be elsewhere.
Now, theyâll probably come back, win the next 2 series and get swept in the WS.
