Its absolutely absurd.
Either get clubs to invest in the academies by allowing them access otherwise dont waste everyones time.
Currently no incentive whatsoever to dedicate money or resources

They are here so AFL has an excuse to prop up the other states teams with their BS academies
Ryan Eyre playing midfield today
Kako is having a day out against a lowly NT team, score is 84 to 7 12minutes into the 2nd quarter. Kako has 3 in the quarter alone
Larry Watson’s younger brother went Ok !
How’s Stanley Waistcoat going?
Just been ok, they can barely get their hands on the ball. 126 to 125 18 into the 3rd. Naim and Kako would have to have 10 goals between them already
198 to 25. A smashing by Calder and all our boys dominated
17 goals combined for Essendon NGA members today. Kako and Naim each kicked 7, Taha with 2, Nguyen with 1 and Eyre kicked a couple of behinds.
How did Eyre look in the midfield?
Not bad he has nice agility and composure but still looks a bit outside for me. Needs to work on his competitiveness a little bit but yeah he is a smooth mover and good user of the ball
Isaac Kako – 22 disposals, 11 marks, 7 goals
Amin Naim – 15 disposals, 8 marks, 7 goals
Mahmoud Taha – 36 disposals, 6 marks, 7 inside 50s, 2 goals
The other Davey had decent game considering the lopsided result.
Waylon Davey-Motlop – 14 disposals, 5 marks, 5 tackles, 2 goals
Of all those, it looks like Eyre has what it takes to play on OUR forward line.
What position does Isaac Kako play, I wonder. Looks a beauty
Small forward/midfield. Much like Bolton and Papley
@THE_DON1 do you think any of this year’s NGA prospects are draftable at this stage? eg. taha, naim, eyre etc.
All 3 look like late picks at this stage but certainly she’s did Egan and Foley from last year. Eyre and Taha have the most potential to push for top 40
Ok thanks
Taha, Naim, Eyre and Kako all selected to play in Vic Metro trials
