Certainly worth a punt.
Although, losing in game 7 of a cup can go both ways. It can drive you on the next year… or it can break you entirely.
Interesting to see which way they go. Can’t rule out any side with McDavid and Draisaitl on it, although both looked very sluggish today.

Watch their season go to ■■■■, McDavid ask for a trade at the same time Mark Stone goes on IR and vegas picks him up for the equivalent of a packet of chips cos nobody else can afford his contract.

Their cap is going to be a real talking point over the next few years.
Draisaitl’s next deal starts next year, at $14m. Mcdavid has one more after this, then he’s going to want close to $15m.
Bouchard is RFA next year, so they’ll have to pay him close to $10m. Nurse is still on $9m for another 3 after this one. They are still paying out Jack Campbell at $2.5m a year. That’s over $50m already.
Not sure how they manage to get enough good players around the guns. They really need to go all in this year.
But yes, with Vegas putting half the cap on IR, they’ll be able to swoop in!

My Caps are surprisingly me early in the season. Dropped the first game of the season but won 3 on the bounce now including a 6-5 corker against the Devs today. That was the Devs 8th game and our 4th and that was the second time we have played them already. Ovi tallied for the first time but Tommy scored his 5th goal and has scored in every game so far

That one hurt as a Devs fan, we busted arse to get to OT. Hell of a game and glad to grab a point at least.
Devs have had a crazy schedule to start, think they will appreciate the little rest. We should have Luke Hughes back soon thankfully, missing a few defenders has hurt.
