7-0-0!
8 ŵins in a row to start the season for the Jets.
Farkin penalties in the 3rd, we gave that one to you Scotty.
Good game before that.
Jets finally lose, but it was still damn close. Leafs up 4-0 and then later 5-2, still went down to the wire with an empty netter making it 6-4
The Blue jackets smashed the Oilers, too.
Good result today, Peos
Shut up
FTFY
Look, we’re in a rebuilding year, ok? That’s why we’ve dropped all our first-round prospects to the AHL so we can fit in a bunch of mature plodders, all because we won a few games at the start of the year.
Calgrington
Sharks finally won a game. Utah up 4-1 with 5 mins to go, but Sharks got them to OT and then won it.
Good win over the Rags. Disappointing that Ovi couldn’t get a sneaky empty netter to get a hat trick through.
Sens and Kraken both scored 8 today, fill ya boots lads
Good win
6-3 over the Habs
Playing some good hockey, let’s hope we can sustain it.
On a side note it’s always good seeing Boston languish near the bottom and copped a 8-2 flogging today
Boston got shut out by the Flyers. They must be pretty bad.
Caps up 5-0 at end of first with just 8 SOG
Caps are flying, Ace.
I saw one of the more uneven fights I’ve seen in a while yesterday.
Bastion went in to stick up for a team mate, then ate a bunch of punches, then got an instigator penalty.
A bit sloppy in the second but still up 6-2.
Been a very promising start to the season though
An early observation that may not be grounded in any reality but I feel like the league is overall a bit higher scoring so far this year. Seeing a lot of 7-5 type games.
No particular explanation as to why; just seems like a thing. Maybe just another cycle like the 80s giving way to the dead puck 90s.
Most seasons are fairly high scoring for the first month until teams start to get settled and work out their best lineups, goalies etc. Usually starts getting more defensive as the season moves on
Yeah that’s a good point. Goaltending is probably a bit rusty this time of year.
Yeah and a lot of jostling for who gets the number 1 gig. A fair bit of trial and error
