These “communication specialists” do realise that Essendon don’t write the papers don’t they?
Because for some reason, when that tool, McCartney, brought it up at the breakfast the other morning, he seemed to be angling it towards Essendon/Dodoro and make it appear as if they were to blame.
Sure they traded Dev Smith last year, but thats no reason to get nasty.
GWS had large numbers of great picks at successive drafts during their startup years and they were never going to be able to hold all that elite talent given that after 8 years they are now subject to the same TPP $ number as the 17 other clubs.
They are being childish about this.
DEAL OR NO DEAL… Dylan Shiel is taking under’s to come to Essendon. If the Bombers CAN’T or WON’T get him in 2018, then he may WALK to Essendon in 2019 but; want more money. Apples with apples. Come on Jackets do the DEAL!!! He is the difference between us wanting to be the best sometimes; you have to be prepared to compromise and let go of something to get there. DEAL.
GOOD PLAYERS WILL WANT TO COME TO US AS WE IMPROVE ANYWAY. That’s the way it
works in footy. DO THE DEAL, JACKETS.
Well if the deal does fall through at least will wil still have pick in a very good draft. We can always have another go next year or perhaps target something even better. Whist Shile would have been great, the natural development of our younger players should hold us in good stead for 2019.
If this deal was any risk of falling through Connors would’ve been on every station on each of the AM, FM and DAB frequencies shouting from the rooftops.
He hasn’t been heard from.
Isn’t it amazing that none of the big-ticket items have happened yet? Like really, really, reaalllyyy amazing…
I’m sitting tight and very confident.
