Overrated: Utopia. That show is just boring cringe.
Underrated: Fisk. Flanagan is a talent but gee the casting is good for the other characters.
Deadloch was great, cant be sure if id pin it as a comedy
I loved how pathetic and ordinary the characters were. Their table of finds was hilarious and typical of how the Brits can laugh at themselves.

Michael Richards expletive, n word ridden tirade during one of his stand up routines changed the landscape for comedy going forward imo. The 9/11 of the comedy scene.
I don’t think that is the case. Under watched maybe, but very few who have watched it don’t rate it highly,

Anyone watched Utopia? I’ve watched most of it and it’s gotten more chuckles out of me than most shows have.

Oh, and I may have to go back and watch it again because it’s probably 25 years or more since I last watched (which may change my mind, lol) but the Peter Jackson film Bad Taste was absolute trash Gold. Brilliant.
By contrast , his follow ups - Meet the Feebles and Brain-dead - were so turgidly overrated that you’d scarcely believe they came from the same guy.

Not meant to be a comedy, but the elation shown at finding a rare piece of Saxon pottery, or digging a trench which misses everything and turns out to be empty, or excitedly describing some dig as “high status” only to discover it as only a pig pen, or something other less than significant.
Everytime I try to watch it, I’m underwhelmed. It’s as though the characters think they’re really funny but the jokes are basic/tame.

Courtney is attractive I agree, but she was too whiny skinny for me to appreciate it.
