Another gauntlet run. Something being delivered from USA using Fastway hope it’s not doa. Also another thing from USA with dwp logistics. Never heard of them but rating above 3 stars so hopeful.
Had a chat to the Woolworths home delivery driver today. The stores are starting to struggle with shortage of healthy staff. Orders are being picked 30-45min late consistently. And they are starting to get short of drivers.
Logistics is going to struggle immensely over the coming weeks.
but then they’re all immune and invincible
NSW and QLD they can go back to work if asymptomatic and SA will probably follow suit in the coming weeks
my cousin received her Woolworths delivery via taxi yesterday!
They are using taxis and Ubers in some areas
Yep, I had an Amazon package delivered by a Cab Driver yesterday.
It looked like he had a customer in the passenger seat.
Don’t have anything to do with them but they are a rather small setup that I didn’t think got too involved with actual logistics as such and are more into designing the platforms that logistics companies use. I would say that ultimately they are just a third party shipper and will still use one of the main companies for every step of the process
Your problem is online shopping at IKEA. Absolutely the worst.
Yep, learnt my lesson there.
To their credit, the items were still delivered in early Jan despite a cancellation of the Order prior to Xmas.
They refunded in full regardless.
For those waiting for stuff from the US there is hope. My parcel arrived in Brisbane today. Was told 3 to 5 business days (I thought that was cute), departed 21st of December, arrived 11th of January.
[your luck]/2
That’s showing them who’s boss!
If you won’t do your job properly, I’ll do it for you!
I love Amazon. Everything I have ordered from them has come on time. I can see why Bezos made so much money…very well oiled machine!
lets see how aramex goes with todays delivery.
To the surprise of everyone Involved arrived
perth to sydney express post in 4 days happy with that …other parcel ordered at same time is still in melbourne lol
No rail line until Feb 17th at earliest, freight companies cutting truck and air services to WA means it might get a fair bit slower in the coming weeks. Express post in 4 days isn’t good but it’s better than expected under current circumstances
yep i work for pacific national so the east west business which is the money maker has ground to a halt…
not much they can do…at least we get the loco maintenance up to date…which is a rarity
