Jake Stringer kicked 3 more goals than Myers in the 10 games of last year.

Switch mckenna with francis and that is pretty close

Please do not compare stringer and Myers. Please

Probably that “second” Morgan bloke on the interchange!

If Langford has a good pre season, he can take a huge stride. Would add a fair bit to the side if he gets to the point where he’s coping in traffic, and running out games strongly.

We were shown up when we had Myers + Watson + Howlett in the side at once, too many slow guys with questionable disposal.

I can deal with myers being around. At least you know he’s going to give his all going both ways, and there will be times where we are a bit small and light in there. Useful to have on the list, without necessarily being in the best 22.

What? Stringer kicked 24 last year, Myers has kicked 29 for his whole career.

Yep, that’s what i have said previously. Keeping Myers isn’t an issue, we need him for depth and specific times.

Sure, but this is the best 22 thread, and his name shouldn’t be anywhere near it.

Hahaha.

Next thing you know I’ll be in the star wars thread talking sh*t about the new films.

I’ve only talked ■■■■ about one new film so far.

Are you boys drafting the VFL team putting LAV2.0 straight into the 1s? Seems S_K has got at you already.

  • Hoping the Stringer puts in the work in the offseason and sets himself for a midfield role.
  • Backing in Hartley to be one of our key defenders long-term (even after disappointing 2017) so want to keep Hooker as a forward.
  • Praying that Kyle steps up as an inside midfielder and think Laverde is actually the most in-doubt for a spot given his positioning as a forward (potential to train with the mids pre-season).
  • Myers, Baguley, Ambrose, Colyer and Begley all knocking on the door.
-For the draft we probably need to look at a development key fwd/back and more inside-midfield depth but we are generally pretty sweet for the next couple of years.

  • both dropped to the VFL
  • both injury prone
  • both are supposed to be the solution to our “big bodied” midfield problem

One has genuine pace and genuine skill and one doesn’t

This is our best side in years.

Stringer has missed 13 games due to injury in 5 years. Myers beat that in 2015 alone.
Myers has played more VFL games than Stringer in the last three years despite not being available for selection at all in 45 of those 67 games.

Edit: got the number of injured weeks wrong.

that is a terrible comparison and not even close.
