Review: West Coast

Thanks- someone else has noticed! Also our hang around about 20 m out from goal causing us to have slot less numbers around the ball 55m out.

Made 3 GFs in 2009-2010, ‘bottomed out’ and still better than us :joy:

It’s round 14 and we are 10th…as someone earlier said, ladder doesn’t lie at this point of season.

Truly woeful performance. We have players on paper that you look at and go…hmmm he’s too good to be dropped.

But in reality they are bang average players.

That was a woeful performance.

Wonder how John ‘judge us after the bye’ Worsfold will spin this one.
Maybe go the trusty, “leave it to the players to self motivate” spin perhaps.

So you’re saying that we need to win 14 games to make the finals?

I don’t think so, it’s a lot more even this year and 12 wins could be good enough, 13 will make it.

How far away from contesting a flag, honestly? Hooker,Hurls,Mckernan and Belly will be on the slide long before we have our shlt together. What then? Daniher might be crocked and Dodoro has recruited munchkins for the last 6 years.

Who’s our saviour… farking Mozzie? West Coast big spuds destroyed our small spuds… I wouldn’t even blame Woosh for that… Dods where are our future kps coming from, you clown? You’re farking dreaming if u think Franga and Stewart will be the answer.

So how did we go? Did we win?

Even if we do, it will be limping into 8th with an away final vs WC, GWS or Adelaide and a ten goal flogging.

2nd quarter was our worst this year by a mile. It could have easily been a 10 goal to 0 quarter.

Players couldn’t be arsed in putting in a shift.

Seeing a lot of Hurley hate. Yeah he got done by Kennedy, but most of that was Kennedy having a free run at the ball with a lot of space and numerous inside 50s. If we had to blame somethings it’s the midfield ffs.

Sounds like we were furry logged.

Yep. 12 wins should be enough this year.

It’s a running joke within AFL circles that we will never seriously challenge for a flag with our current group as there’s so many of our leaders that are comfortable with just being AFL players

Voice of reason. Not a great night from Hurls but the damage was done up the Field

What’s the point if we’re bog average and are just gonna get rolled by a good side?

Anyone hating on Hurls is an idiot.

Ain’t no one stopping how easy that ball came in.

What’s more staggering is why Ambrose whoa shut nearly every key forward done didn’t get first crack at Kennedy.

A bit of body contact puts Darling off his game, Hurley was a better match up there.

Possibly, but if we can get enough wins from our remaining games to make the finals, then I think we have the form leading into it to get a win.

Must do is to beat the teams around and below us, w.g. North, Sydney, Gold coast, Port, etc

Hurley cops alot off some supporters. Has been really solid this year. Plays with heart. He loves the club.

Ambrose was always going to get Darling. He is the only one who can run with him. Darling’s major weapon is an ability to run his opponent into the ground.

Thought Heppell was pretty good. Redman too.
