Richmond def Essington Turnoverfest at the G: Review Thread

This is why we can’t ever go into a game with confidence.

Ever.

Could’ve lost by 12 goals we were no where near it at any point.

Putrid. Steaming pile of vomit.

I can’t even

Richmond were much better by foot, hand…only stayed in the game because they kicked for goal poorly

Nothing went our way tonight

Stewart no game awareness, 6 points down with 6 minutes to go, need two scores. Stupid beyond belief

looks like were still struggling with a few players not being able to come up week after week.
tackling wasn’t at the same intensity this week
and a lot more very basic skill errors like dropped uncontested marks killed us
Richmond probably missed 4 or 5 easy goals so we were lucky to be in it late.
26 to 16 scoring shots says it all

Yep, couldn’t agree any more.

Anyone that thought that Richmond weren’t going to come out breathing fire tonight is dillusional.

sad when the toughest player on your team hasn’t even turned 19 yet

This is our worst loss in 3 years. By a mile.

We are a very average football team.

Cotchin putting the “don’t argue” on Tippa summed up our night.

Totally outplayed by a team that is sadly better than us.

Forward efficiency kept us in it, lack of forward pressure in the last killed our chance of sneaking it.

Not our worst loss for the year.

I honestly worried all week this had Dreamtime 2011 and 2015 written all over it and sure enough…

Richmond’s ineptitude kept us in it right up to the end, and we couldn’t summon even a couple of decent passages in the last to steal it.

Tippa to be rested for future Dreamtime matches.
