Something doesn’t make sense when fans of the same team go off like that.

The worst fights I have ever seen at games have involved Richmond supporters fighting among themselves.
I was at the G the game where some flog smacked an old man in his 70’s I think.
Sh!!t supporter group.
don’t be so naive as to think it doesn’t happen with all clubs at any/all games. I’ve seen plenty of dero’s in red and black in scuffles of varying severity.

Worst I’ve seen is at the Carlton Essendon 99 Prelim.
Just after the siren as I was exiting out onto Brunton Ave three or four Essendon supporters just finished kicking into a Carlton supporter and casually walked away.
I do remember a bit of a scuffle on Anzac Day in the 2000s when a group of supporters were tumbling down one of the aisles fighting.
The supporter group I’ve seen the most laying outside the MCG covered in their own sick has been Richmond supporters. Not so much now, I reckon for the most part it’s OK, but as a kid there was always people punching on covered in vomit outside. Always Tigers.
