I was um-ing and ah-ing a bit over the past few days, but Im going, Screw it it’s still Essendon, I hope we can embarrass a few teams this year. As far as Im concerned until we have played a few real games, anything can happen.
Joe Daniher could easily rip the game apart this year, that Alone is worth going to watch the bombers this year. He looked like a caged animal in the NAB
Was it just me, or did others also find the Robert Shaw analysis on the club website of the matchup particularly interesting and perceptive?
He gave a pretty good indication of where we are at and what is possible. I also didn’t realise how many GCS midfielders are out for this match.
Going on his preview, I’d say we are a pretty good chance to win.
I still think we are still a complete unknown for this year. Cant go on NAB form, to be honest Carlton for example were nothing like the pre season form. We will just have to wait and see what we are capable of. The backline KP’s are my only genuine worry
