I donāt think Iāve ever been less enthused about the start to the season and this will be the first year in decades that I donāt attend a game in Melbourne. My enthusiasm may pick up if we give the indigenous lads a go but thatās about it unfortunately

The pre season games were underwhelming,also rnd 1 last year so its understandable that some fans arent excited for the season.
Nah, Iāll keep posting but not attending games and most likely wonāt even go out of my way to watch games. In the past Iāve revolved my life around when we are playing but Iāll most likely just check scores and read on here whatās going on and if Iām home doing nothing and itās on the TV I might watch a bit. Definitely not investing any money and very little time into the club currently

Round 1ās have a good habit of crushing club spirits in recent years. That 12 goal loss to GWS a few years back right up there with the worst, next to Geelong from last year.
Usually the club drinks its own bath water and puts in some marshmellow performances but this year feels different in that we expect to be flogged anyway.
