I’m looking forward unlike some of the negative nellies here, to the game.
I want to see the younger guys step up and signs our tackling, sheparding and defensive one percenters have improved.
i want to see us be more ruthless when we get i front
i want us to chase and run hard both ways
i want us to take an extra microsecond before we kick
i don’t want much!!
Club hasn’t demonstrated anything that counters the negative commentary by many of us. Of course we’d all like to see the above, but we’ve been asking for that for 15 years, it’s tiresome.
Ultmately, the supporters want success more than the actual club. I’d welcome the players and club proving me wrong.
Ironically i was gonna post something about this. you generally mimic pretty closely nino’s reactions in those 2 threads you mention, yet i can guarantee you only one poster is going to get the ■■■■ canned out of him for being that way.
not a bad approach to focus during matches on what we’re doing technically rather than the scoreboard - given it’s rebuilding phase and all that and we are going to have periods of suckiness
I’m excited but at the same time worried about what might happen.
I’m excited to see what sort of stamp Scott has put on the team.
We desperately need to win round 1. For a few reasons
Hawthorn suck, so we should be beating them.
Who doesn’t love to see their team win, and it will also create a bit off buzz around this place.
Sick of going to away games at the MCG at seeing us lose.
For me, the big focus will be on how the senior players perform. Normally our young guys perform well, but the senior players are the inconsistent ones.
