i understand Heffsgirl, Iām frustrated too and have been following them for 60 years,but iām prepared to wait 4 rounds before shooting them down.I hope Scott turns us around and we are discussing how good this player or that player is in the future!!

My god that drives me nuts seeing those things happen.
Not once have ive seen an essendon team make the opposition hot potato the footy to the point where they turn it over.
Opposition must love playing us they dont have to work hard to win the footy.

I deeply hope we see change. I donāt want to be negative. For about 20 years footy was such an enjoyable past time. I want that back again. I want to feel optimistic.
My negatively is tiresome and boring but its my way of coping. Iām hoping to work on it.
Yes, I do hope we have a good year and see positive signs of meaningful change. Fingers crossed.

Isnāt it sad that the most enjoyable time of the year is the off-season when thereās no footy. I just become a miserable sod between March - August, dread it every year.

You donāt need to work on anything and donāt let anyone on an online forum tell you otherwise.
Many feel the same way. After feeling the identical optimism coming into a season for nearly two decades now and ending up with spiritless and mediocre resultsā¦ any negativity towards the club and team itself is completely justified until they prove otherwise.

Ehh, I find footy fun even if we suck.
So Iām looking forward to watching how Essendon goes about 2023, irrespective of how that actually is.
