I’d happily take the 2 points against the Suns and just roll into round 1 against the Hawks.
Gold Coast up there is going to be quite the challenge this year so I wouldn’t feel like we are being dudded.

I know there’s a limit on the 5 day breaks but have we already reached the limit with our fixture ?

- 5 day turn around and travel too hard to play on Sunday
- concert at marvel last week means ground not ready for games
- no aligned bye weeks for us to play GC unless pre finals bye week.
- is the MCG ready to go for a Saturday game? It might be the only option
So if they do switch our fixtures with the Suns, where will they play the game this Saturday ?

Per the new bargaining agreement teams on a 5 day break cannot play teams on a 6+ day break. And yes also a limit on 3 per team i believe.

Ground unsafe. What do the players do if they can’t get from Broadbeach to the ground? So many risks and unknowns. I’m amazed they haven’t made a call based on safety grounds. There’s more than enough reason to believe safety is a concern and actually being able to get the game away too.
