Not sure about the balance of the team without Dea but I am not sure Hartley as another tall would have made sense. Goddess and Heppell will need to play in the back half. God I hope they don’t put Myers there! Leave him on the ball. Missing Gleeson. Need Francis to step up soon.

Twice as many Footscray fans as Essendon in my train carriage.
(For some reason there were two trains in a row, and one of the four people in my carriage doesn’t appear to be going to the footy.)

I’m at the EJ Whitten bar - about 60/40 Essendon’s way for supporters I’d say.
Huge swing: after Victoria Park Station, we now have 60% of the footy fans.
Pretty empty at present.
Seems like the dogs havent turned up cos they 5hink they’ll lose , and essendon fans havent turn up worried what essendon will come out.
