Should trade Hogan, as his value to a team like Freo would be very high.
Salary cap permitting, should then throw the kitchen sink at May & Gaff.

Can see them doing an Adelaide Crows next year and completely missing the finals with a tougher draw, a few early injuries and mental scarring from today’s performance.

I think he is good, but a little over rated generally by fans and media.
He has significant value.
Freo would give up their Pick 6 (after Lynch compo), plus something else significant.
Melbourne would then be able to satisfy Gold Coast’s trade demands for S.May, a player they desperately need.
Hogan would need to be open to it, but they should explore it.
They stunk it up today but they exceeded expectations this year. If they don’t go crazy Pyke over the preseason they should be primed for a big year next year
