Correct, seen it first hand, it is a serious addiction. They already know it is stupid, they already know they shouldn’t do it, they just cannot stop themselves, no matter how hard they try. Even with enormous help and resources it is very hard. It is the same type of addiction as drugs, very similar affects on brain chemistry.

Behind paywall but there are some interesting comments.
Seeing a feather like Jake Lever trying to make himself look bigger by doing this ridiculous power stance is hilarious.
Even funnier, was the Tigers players dispersing at the completion of the Anthem, whilst the Adelaide players stood there like idiots.

It’s even funnier when you recall how completely the tigers embarrassed them at the contest. It was obvious within 10 minutes of the first quarter that Richmond were playing with an aggression that the crows had absolutely no stomach for. It’s been downhill since then and yeah Pyke should absolutely be in the gun as should Tex as Captain.
