It’s a tad hypocritical. We are having a go at their fans for not turning up to games, yet many here have also blamed our fans for “accepting mediocrity” over the years. Their fans aren’t putting up with rubbish and they are letting their club know.
We have something to learn from the dogs, cats and Guinea pigs that make up the Hawthorn membership base.

Its a shame there last home game against Gold coast at Marvel is going to be a farewell game for some of there retiring players which will inflate numbers.
Without it would be a perfect sample size of how many fans have dropped off, it would have rivalled the 14k v GWS they got earlier this season.

It took over 10 years of ■■■■ on field + a drugs saga and fielding a team of top ups for our crowds to dip to that figure in 2016.
Hawks achieved it a year after finishing top 4.
