They changed it last year, it’s now 12 months for seniors and 6 for assistants. It applies to all contracts as well, so north will only have to pay him for a year if they sack him.

The 1.6M price tag is just crazy. They can’t move on him this year or next so it’ll effect the soft cap in the short term. You see what happens when little is spent in other areas such as development.
I may be out of touch but 1.6M seems like it’s double most other senior coaches. No wonder Sonja had no plan B. If she offered 500k a year more than any other club there’s no doubt what Clarkson would pick.

They did also bring in some soft cap changes, IIRC 20% or something of their payout sits outside the cap and they can roll some of it over.
Doesn’t matter though, they’re stuffed no matter what happens
I feel for the kids that support them.
But the adults can ■■■■ right off. Were salivating at our misery during the Saga more than anyone.

Had the Crows been awarded a free and kicked a goal after the siren, the sentiment would be just as dire as what it is at North.
