Caleb Daniel though, stuffed around, was healthy and not picked. Was consistently good in VFL looking at the stats when he played there too. Clearly out of favour.
I see a relatively achievable acquisition there.

Jack McRae then, he is on the outer and is a superb kick.
When looking into Daniel I uncovered Macrae will be 31 during season next year, Daniel 29.
Figured go the younger less sooky looking of the two.
Have a feeling Macrae is heading towards cooked-ville if not already there.
Macrae ran at an elite 77% disposal efficiency this season.

Wouldn’t bother with Macrae.
Would consider Daniel though for sure. He’d come cheap too I suspect. You’d get 3 years out of Daniel potentially. And we severely lack enough players who can actually kick a football well.

Considering he’s contracted to end of 2032, reckon unless they are willing to take significant unders for him, they’ll be stuck with him for a while yet.
We could do a lot worse than Daniel. Elite by foot and smartt player.

They have an embarrassment of riches in terms of talls forward of centre. They also have Matty Croft’s boy who is supposed to be pretty good too. If you were going to trade one of JUH, Darcy or Naughton it would be Naughton. Not sure they will though. Lobb has got a key defensive post locked in so I doubt he will leave.
Bevo, as good as he can be, does some baffling things at times with team selection and game day tactics. Leaving Bont forward in the 3rd, where he didn’t touch it and they were getting spanked, was ridiculous. Puts him on the ball in the last, he dominates, but too little too late. I doubt they sack him.
