Season 2024 - Western Bulldogs

A forward line of JUH, caddy and Kako is certainly enticing.

Weaaahhhhhttttt that’s bonkers.

clubs really got drunk these last few years on long termers, didn’t they.

If we’re going to continue to play that very unintelligent style of footy where we just bang it long and hope for a contest and go from there, then Naughton would actually be the ideal player. He’s not perfect but he’s as brave in the air as they come and can be relied on to not be MEEK in the contest.

From memory, it was you who floated Georgiades 2-3 years ago.
If so it was a good call.
Not that Port would even entertain that now (he looks their best forward).

Darcy is a unicorn of a footballer.

Daniher but can kick straight and not do stupid ■■■■.

Agree, but don’t think the Dogs would let him go.
But if they did I’d def go for him.
Makes trading out Stringer a no-brainer if he’s keen to go somewhere else for a 2+years.

Prefer Naughton to JUH who for mine, bottled it on Sat vs Hawks. Was awol…

Dogs: Parish + Langford
efc: Ugle-Hagan

Dogs get help where they need it now. Parish on ball replaces Libba due to head knocks, and Langford fits in better up forward with their talls and was there in 2016 watching last premiership.

could be win-win for both sides.

Doggies already have libba replacement with Sanders though.

I wonder if the Dogs concentrating on talls now, is some form of delayed compensation for when they lost a prelim because they had no talls to kick to, and relied heavily on Brad Johnson to kick enough goals for them to win. He couldn’t and they didn’t.

I know Bailey Smith is destined for the cattery, but is this guy any good?

He’s a 3 time All Australian…but he is also 30 and has three years remaining on his current contract.

Given where the club is at, it would be foolish to go after him as it would likely cost way too much.

Just go to the draft at get more youth.

Thanks for that and yes, he’s primarily a mid so no demand for us atm. As you say better to go drafting …

There’s a few gaps in my awareness of other teams.
Somehow this one slipped throught the net … not hard to, btw!!

Caleb daniel next I bet

I would go after the right outside mid at the right price.
Macrae ain’t it though.

Beveridge gone?

What are the jungle drums saying?
Have you heard anything?
A couple of months ago l would have believed something was stirring in the depths, but the Dogs found some seriously good form and played a final, so l doubt Bevo is in any trouble.
