Something seriously wrong with the club (Part 2, March 2022)

Stuff the end of the season.

Yep for sure

Genuinely expecting the usual ‘but sydney lost their first 6 games in 2017 and won a final’ type hope posts. We all know it’s not going to happen.

Farken lazy, entitled and dumb football club.

I’m done with it.

coaches
list and players seem like the say thing

atm the essendon bubble culture is engulfing everyone that comes into it and spitting them out, something has to change there.

It’s funny though, the longer time goes by, there seems to be only one guy who tried to change things and he was the one who got the ■■■ the quickest.

That is an absolute disgrace. No pride at all. Rutten needs to lay down the law tomorrow morning and make them work bloody hard. No more Mr Nice coach. Be a mongrel and work out if these blokes are willing to do what needs to happen. Otherwise they can cash their cheques playing VFL for the rest of their fat contracts.

In that case, I actually kinda hope we get flogged. The world will know how ■■■■ we are and the media will apply the blowtorch.

The club needs to feel the pinch.

ok chat to you when you come back

Rutten shouldn’t have to lay down the law

As a footy player if you’re in the backline, and you see opponents running free (4 of them)

You go with them, or at least run to be an outlet for Riddley

It’s like we recruit dumbasses / lazy players / celebrity wannabes, not actual athletes

You can see those who try, Durham, Martin, McG, they really care about it, it’s a personality thing

Im trying to remember when was the last time I felt proud to be an Essendon supporter.

2004 most likely, but its such a distant memory.

I think we set the bar for success at such low level. I just dont see any real pride in their effort during adversity on the field. I only see it when they’re winning, which really means they are pack of front runners only.

I know a lot has to go right for a team to be competitive. A good run with injuries is the obvious major factor, but surely pride in the team and individual performance every single week, win or lose, has to be non negotiable.

I just feel sad about our club and I cant see any of these boys choosing to change their destiny.

What ever happened to that Sydney loving poster that used to hang around blitz?

He or she could probably tell us what we need to do in order to become successful surely?

We’d have found a way to shred those hammys, and he’d have retired within 1 season as hawks expecte

If only we played on Fridays more often given we must have Friday on our Mind. Or is Friday symbolic for the end of the season?

No, thats Monday. Mad Monday.
