Nah, I want him to come back asap, take over coaching again and get us a flag.
You canât live forever and he has a couple of sons.
I realise many say it is crazy⌠and the AFL will never let him coach again⌠but Iâd support Hirdy coming back without hesitation⌠I never wanted him fired in the first place (forced to resign or whatever spin you want to put on it).
The Hird years are the best we have looked onfield in a long long time. I really believe we were on track for a real shot at a flag. Vossy has got a 2nd crack⌠Bucks had an extended stintâŚ
Iâd love to see Hirdy back and given a shot at it⌠Maybe even Cara as HC and Hirdy as assistant.

I will always have a soft spot for him.
Thereâs nothing I want more but to have our boy back. I just donât think itâs legitimately a good idea, at least right now. The attention it would bring from journos would be self perpetuating. The headlines they could flog from thatâŚ
Make him development coach or if he wants coach of the VFL side

Agree totally. The Media Dept from hell!!!
Not only are they slack at keeping up-to-date, they work on the cheap by âgiving work experienceâ to RMIT photography students to save $$$. No reflection on the students but the quality of photos is at best, just passable on the Website!

Gil said they wont block Hirdy from coaching again if thatâs what he wants to do.
Your right the only time we looked like a shot at a flag was when Hird was coach.
How many awesome wins did we have under him? Freo in Perth is my favourite. players played for him thatâs what a i loved. Hird saying that he hates Hawthorn more than anything next minute we are playing Hawks for top spot.
Get the great man away from that plastic club and bring him home please

It would take a massive operation to remove the clubs head from up the AFLâs sphincter before they would ever consider going against their wishes & bringing Hird back.

What is the inside word on the on-field issues.
Did we drink our own bathwater after playing a final despite being obliterated in said final.
Did we make a rod for our own back by gifting players like Ham, Kelly opening game over Culter, Durham.
Are we under utlising Wright by playing him deep instead of ruck and between the arcs.
How can any AFL team fail to short kick and run and bounce way out of the press year in year out.
Why do we kick âdown the lineâ and to the âhot spotâ
How come yearbin yearvout we never keep our key backs, back like Geelong and Melb and get taken over the back.
The Paul Cousins interview by Scooter is pretty good for getting some sort of perspective
Just on Hirdy i reckon the saga and whats happend would make him a better coach the second time imo

Maybe reckon majority of media would forgive Hirdy and give him another chance it will be â â â â â like Caroline,Damo who would have issues.
