Nino wouldnt make a bet with me that North would win a final before us.
He reckons they’ll be bottom 4 for another 5 years.
Simply because he believes that bottoming out doesn’t work.
i reckon that anyone saying “the fans don’t have the patience for a rebuild” are really saying “i don’t have the patience for a rebuild”
there may also be a bit of “we’d just fk it up anyway” behind it

SUGGESTED NEW TOPIC: “END OF SEASON CUP”.
In 2022 our performances in the last two rounds precipitated Ben Rutten moving to the door. Losses to Port (84) and Richmond (66) for an aggregate deficit of 150 points. Final two rounds of 2023 under Brad The Resultist saw losses by an aggregate 196 points. Looking forward to the final two games of 2024 against Sydney and Brisbane when the boys can begin planning Greek Islands sojourns with tops off. Season 2024 will see the Cup firmly in the hands of the 2024 list.

I’ll give you two examples. Redman and mcgrath. Two of the weakest, sh*ttest players at the club. The kind of guys who play about 5-6 good games a year, and 18 rubbish ones

And from the few reports I’m reading, sounds like Brad has been teeing off the last couple of weeks.
The response from the players would have been jarring for senior club officials, surely.
Scott has hinted that these results haven’t come as a shock to him. Even when we were winning early, he says he was aware of shortcomings.
Perhaps he is very aware of the soft underbelly of our club. I’m hopeful he is anyway.

Now that we’re cooked, at least do the right thing now and don’t win another game, you infuriating charlatans. The gap between our finishing position (1st draft pick) and our % (how we’re really going) needs to narrow.
