Have you seen the very lack of support Cummins gave in the media this week?
I’m getting my popcorn and waiting for the reaction out of the Peoples Republic of Western Australia. Plus all his former team mates.

Shitshow. ■■■■■■■■■■■.
Pretty much. Offered him 2 years take it or leave it and had some responsibility taken off him
Even some from the real Australia have been appalled at his treatment.
The issue was he was gone before this summer. The lost to India at home was the death knell. Even the T20 World Cup and Ashes wins weren’t enough to reverse the decision given the dye was already cast.
Happy he is gone but handled poorly
Who is next in line to take the role?
Considering they offered him a contract i would say he wasn’t actually gone at all. They wanted to keep him but wanted to make it shorter in case it all falls apart.
Cricket Australia surely gets the gold medal for the most poorly administered sport in Australia and that’s saying something.
He got the offer off the back of the summers results. But they were never committing to him long term.
Not overly comfortable with this. Without looking at CA it feels as though decisions are being made by a bunch of corporates.
Time for Paine to return glorious.
Painey.
Will be interesting: Gillespie, McDonald, DiVanuto, Bayliss
Anyway it’s cricket. As SK Warne said the only thing a coach is good for in cricket it getting you to the ground.
They wanted their cake and eat it too. It was a poor way to treat the guy: leaking stuff constantly, then short changing him on a contract.
One of my best mates is very close to McDonald. He is expecting he will get the job if he wants it.
Would loved Dizzy or Punter. Punter maybe a way off a FT coaching role other than IPL stints though.
Bayliss will get it, hope McDonald gets the ODIs.
Ponting and Langer are best mates aren’t they?
I doubt it will be Punter. I reckon maybe McDonald.
As long as it’s going past maccas.
Bayliss? He was recruited primarily to get England through World Cup. I’m not sure if his test record stacks up much.
