Going on Dec 13th, haven’t seen them before so really looking forward to it.

Got tix for ‘round 2’ of Brian Jonestown Massacre next March at Northcote Theatre. Hopefully a few more songs this time, and maybe a few less fisticuffs.

That’s not how it works…

This, however….

Yep I’d be tempted to have a snooze to Coldplay.

A nice nap is a wonderful thing

Radiohead are back! Shows in Europe this November and December, hopefully this leads to bigger things.

Looking forward to seeing The Beards tomorrow night. Always a good laugh.

Also, just got a ticket to see bar italia, who are pretty awesome too.

I was supposed to see them at Castlemaine.. needless to say it was canceled after the prior night’s events

Caught Blue Rodeo last month in the South Okanagan, (BC). 40th anniversary tour- they still play and sound phenomenal.

Mrs Chilly gave the show a rare 10/10.

Did they ever translate to Oz? I seem to recall them getting a little press early 90s, but I may be wrong

Idk if it’s just because I remembered ear protection this time, but Amaranthe’s sound quality is heaps better this time around.

addit
I also thought Trivium were playing but they were never even announced.
Don’t know how I stuffed that up :joy:

What are you wearing?

I need some advice on ‘pro quality’ or musician quality protection that just reduces the volume.

I’ve got Zound ear plugs.
Previously just used those disposable yellow things you get from hardware stores so not a lot to compare to.

The last quokkas at gummo last night was all time.

Trying to get off the couch to go see them again tonight at the old bar.

Gummo is my favourite bar on high st.

Must’ve been packed

Yup. The band was too big for the stage so band members were all over the place, in the crowd and even outside on the footpath at stages. Was wild.

Out on a date night with Mrs Furious and she got us tickets to see The Whitlams supported by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Haven’t listened to any of their stuff in years but Tim Freedman still has a great voice. Pleasantly surprised.

Went last night and it was a great performance

Not a gig as such, but did score tix to see Stewart Copeland on his speaking tour for Father’s Day. Having listened to his audiobook, and having loved it, I have high expectations.

Are you seeing him in Jan? I have tixs too

Yep, I’m in Perth so it’s the Regal in Subiaco. Presume you’re Melbourne?
