The title song is a great track - have it on a mixed CD. Don’t know any of their other material - is that particular song representative?

There’s more punk songs like Post Acid.

Also plenty of trippy stoner songs aswell.

Edit: Stephen Pope who plays base, was previously in Jay Retards band

That’s a cool album!

No Fun At All at the Evelyn.

■■■■■■ great show, and what a nice little room that is. As intimate as a punk rock show can get

Supported by Wolf Pack. They’re more metal than k normally listen to, but farkin shredded.

Just got back from Hoodoo Gurus at the Croxton, very well supported by Dallas Crane. Not too shabby.

How farkin good is Melbourne for live music? Seriously.

Any night if the week you can see a decent farkin show.

Spoke to a mate in Sydney and he reckons a lot of places have closed down.

It’s fantastic. Last night I was at Goanna and during the day yesterday The Models were playing an arvo gig at The Corner.

So very lucky we live here.

I’m always surprised how much I like Dallas Crane. I don’t have any of their stuff, but I might have to as I really like them. I’ve seen them at least 3 times when the have been supporting others.

Yeah I was scrambling to get to see Hoss at the Tote, then NFAA at Evelyn.

Cut my losses tho.

Croxton is my local, getting some decent bands booked now. Will they ever get the Helmet tour rescheduled I wonder?

Bought it, played it once. Crap

Oh, so there’s a 2pm matinee NFAA show at Last Chance Rock n Roll tomorrow.

Looks like I’ll have to pony up again.

Saw Dallas Crane open for Rose Tattoo at The Corner back in 2018. Didn’t know much about 'em at the time - they were great.

Caught George Thorogood & The Destroyers at The Forum last Friday night. Farking awesome show. I first saw George and the boys at Festival Hall way back in 1989, and again in 1992 & '93. They knocked me out every time - always a great, fun show.

Fast forward to 2022, and George is 72 years old. Going in, i was a bit concerned if he could still do it - shame on me. We got in early and parked ourselves in the front row. Any doubts i had were blown away within the first two minutes of the gig. Ol’ Georgie was brilliant - a truly great entertainer/showman who loves what he does. The Destroyers are a tight, punchy blues/rock’n’roll band. Throw George’s slide guitar and saxophone over the top, it just, farking works.

Just a great night.

No. Just went as a regular punter looking for some nostalgia.

Despite the name, it was a fun show.

Genuinely impressed that they play gigs at pubs. Maybe I’m estimating their popularity, but I’d imagine in Europe they play bigger venues than The Evelyn and Last Chance.

Yeah - it’s a beauty. The Destroyers are a great live act, it’s impossible to keep still at one of their shows. There was a great vibe among the punters before - and after - the show last Friday. By nature, i’m more the ‘stand back, take it in, head nodder’ type, but i was bopping all over the joint. Audience participation is a big feature of a Destroyers gig.
