The Dog Thread

Not all at the same time, I hope?

My dog was pooing, weeing, eating, sleeping all the time too she was 14 or 15 when she passed this year

It could be a sign that his time might be coming soon hopefully he checks out ok.

lol, no

It might also just be he’s a bit older and it’s now getting a bit harder to regulate body temperature. Just like happens in humans as they age.

I had a beagle who after about the age of 12 got rattled a bit by the heat. Lived to almost 17.

Definitely get it checked over by the vet, though.

We have had a number Labs, and they are affected by heat even more than our Alaskan Malamutes. Make sure they have lots of water and let them be inside as much as possible.

The Vet will tell you if there is an issue.

Yeah, I’m not a vet, but the older that dogs get the more they feel the heat. It’s not necessarily the sign of anything sinister, just an indicator of age like walking a bit slower etc.

This one is dedicated to @loyalandproud who was such a valued contributor to this thread. She had such a love for dogs. If there is an afterlife, then I hope she is with every dog that has ever been in her life.

Lovely post…. She was a kind and helpful blitzer.
I read this thread a lot. I have forgotten how to post a pic on here, can someone post some simple hints for an old daft person?

Bessie, what are you trying to post? If you have an image or a file of an image, you can just use your mouse and drag and drop it into the window where you type.

If you want to post something that is on a website or something then you need to snip it out or copy it so that you can them paste it in. If you use a PC then something like the Snipping Tool can be used.

Hope this helps otherwise let us know what your are trying to do and what you are trying to do it on.

Unfortunately I am trying to just send a couple of pics from my iPad. I am no longer up to date with all the very latest stuff. Thank you for replying. I recently had to update my mobile phone, at Telstra, I paid for it etc and asked for a book of instructions as it was a completely different brand, guy looked at me like I was from another planet!! Have kept.andline …… So mobile sits mostly idle, just calls in and out.. landline and iPad are my things. Brain managing well with lifes learnings…except complicated mobile technology. 86 soon, and too hard. Big thanks for acknowledging my post. :butterfly:

I was away playing at a festival from Boxing day to NYE, so we put our two old girls into kennels for the duration. When we picked them up, the kennels people gave us this photo they’d taken of them, all done up in Christmas gear courtesy of AI. Duchesse & Rosie don’t look too bad given their age (12½).

I was about to have a crack at you for cruelty Perce, making Duchesse wear a Swans scarf until I read you weren’t responsible and it was done with AI.

Bessie, not an expert with the iPad, but just copied this on a iPad from a search on How to copy and paste an image on the iPad.

Not saying that this demo is the best out there, maybe one with sound would be better. Have a look and see how you go.
