Latency will be hell. Unless you have an iPad and get an irig and use it instead of your amp
I donât have an ipad unfortunately. Going to keep the headphones anyway because they are quality, and try my luck with a low latency transmitter. If it doesnât work so be it.
What computer do you have? Can probably help you out with some software
A fairly competant HP. 512 SSD 16 GB ram.
Iâve recently looked into this myself. Iâve ordered a set of Bluetooth headphones and a transmitter off Amazon that are supposedly low latency. Will report back on what the latency is like for guitar when they arrive.
There is a new Bluetooth codec called âaptX Low Latencyâ that minimises latency. Itâs around 40 ms. Qualcomm make these Bluetooth chips, and their site lists all the transmitters and receivers (eg. headphones) that support the aptX Low Latency codec. Lots of brands youâll recognise use it, but most Bluetooth devices are not aptX Low Latency.
Cool. I was looking at the Avantree Oasis, which I found from this list.

Iâve got the Oasis Plus and the Avantree Audition Pro headphones on order. Youâll need both transmitter and headphones to have aptX Low Latency chips to get the benefit.
My headphones are compatible.
the transmitter works, it would be a nice little luxury.
Send me a pm I will give you my line 6 login details . That way you download helix native for your laptop
Got bored and picked up my kids electric guitar to try and learn anything, using Rocksmith on the PS3. Has anyone ever used this to learn? It kind of like guitar hero, but you use a real guitar, and if you canât play for â â â â , it slows down, and tells you which strings youâre missing.
Anyway, looks like i need to get a new cable and guitar strap. The ones that came with it are both pretty â â â â .
What should I be looking at to buy, I literally have no idea what Iâm doing, but I need a cable thatâs going to last (kids) and a strap that is comfy and wonât fall off, so any advice would be handy.
This would do you. Comfort, quality, wonât break the bank. ![]()

Borrowed a mateâs Duesenberg Starplayer TV. Very playable neck. Very versatile soundwise - P90 neck pup (can rolloff bass to make it strat-like) and humbucker bridge pup for bite & grain.
Good counterpoint to the cut & slash of my Nash Tele.
Want.
Grabbed this the other day because Iâve wanted to own a Mustang since I was 15 and I saw Kurt Cobain with one in the Smells like Teen Spirit film clip, and this was going to be the bones for a new mod project.
Except I love it, necks great and the p-90âs are incredible, I donât want to change anything.
Hi all
Just grabbed a Squire Jazz Bass to go with the HB TE80, ( I said it was a 70 in an earlier post).
I havenât got really long fingers, so the Jazz is just that much more easier to play than a P-Bass.
In cheap guitar heaven
Just picked up a Gibson 339. In love
What a superb looking axe. You must be wrapped. I hope it plays as good as it looks.

thought this might be the place to ask for some advice! we do a Kris Kringle thing for Christmas, and one of my brothers has decided heâd like a ukulele this year!
Any suggestions for what brand/type to buy him? would ideally like to get him the ukulele, a case, and some other accessories - strings, tuning thingie, instruction book etc. Looking at spending around $180.
Iâve looked at some music shop websites, but I have no idea whatâs good and whatâs not, so if anyone has some suggestions, would be much appreciated!
I have a Mahalo tucked away somewhere. It plays great, and it was nowhere near $180.
Iâd give them a big tick, and they are not hard to find either online or at a music store.
Youâd be able to get the Uke, a gig bag, some swag and maybe even an instructional dvd- probably still have some change.
