29 next month…undersized, one sided. If we can get a 3rd rounder we should jump at it.

theres 44 on an entire squad, not everyone would be traded or delisted
Theres 5 rounds in the draft so theres plenty of players to be picked
Still too many we will be drafting players all night passed pick 60

The key bit is how much more success we have with SSP and MSD players. We should oy be replacing about 3 via draft. Everyone else as a 21yo+

Best way is to cut a few this season replace via draft/trade and then next year do the same

Really? Get rid of 18 players?
It would have to be one helluva draft year for us to get 18 decent players in the draft(s) - or by trade in or FA.
That is just frustration talking. You can’t seriously rebuild with 18 new players, most of whom are 18 year olds.

Not really man every strategy Essendon has done has equated to the worst club of the last 20 years, delisting 8 players and possibly trading another 7 is not really the end of the world
As i said before not all these would happen anyway, my point is we have a list full of plodders which needs fixing

Nobody is saying turn over 20 players in one go. The depressing thing when you list the 20 not up to it, is the fact it will take multiple off seasons to do it. We just want to see Scott start the process this year.

Yep. The emotional side of me wants to see Kelly delisted and trade Mcgrath for draft pick/s, but then the rational side says we will have no back pockets to defend small forwards. So delist Kelly this year and keep Mcgrath this year, and trade Mcgrath at a later date.
And repeat for the small forwards and the kpfs (not Caddy obviously).
