The Overrated Thread

#543

As far as I know. Still tastes the same. I’ll have a look when I get home. Still have some in the fridge. Nice and refreshing in a hot climate.

#544

Yep, still has quinine.

#545

Here’s a devastating tidbit, tonic contains almost as much sugar as coke. My ‘healthy’ drink is definitely, from that pov, overrated.

#546

Depends whose chest.

#547

Sorry, but I’ve had the cuke gnt and it’s not for me.

#548

No matter. I’m thinking mojito might be my summer tipple this year. No objection to mint?

#549

Mojitos are farken dangerous on a hot day.

It’s a very “1’s too many and 50’s not enough” kind of scenario.

#550

Mint belongs in toothpaste and nothing else! The most useless of all herbs…

#551

Some unadventurous souls around here. What about hops in beer?:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

#552

Why ruin perfectly good water?

#553

Blitz’s ability to discern heights.

Despite it not being rated.

#554

I don’t mind the occasional chocolate & mint ice-cream.

#555

Mint Aero rules.

#556

No.
And no.

#557

'ken oath it does.

#558

Chocolate mint ice cream tastes like toothpaste.

#559

None at all, in its place. And I fully accept your right to put cucumber in gin and tonic if you want to. My real peeve is that the simplest, and best, cocktail of all, the martini, has become so messed about by ignorant oafs that if you order one in a bar you don’t know, you have to stand over the barman to see that he/she doesn’t do something disgusting to it.

#560

And take out a bank loan to pay for it

#561

I think I’d draw the line at Cukeing a G&T, … the Lime goes alright.

But as a “Don’t knock it 'till you try it” adherent, … if I get the chance this Summer, … I’ll give it a try.

#562

damn. Didn’t work.
