To be serious for a moment, was in the car yesterday and on the radio the news reporter mentioned McGrath would be making his first appearance this week v pies and I legitimately felt excited.
For the first time I didn’t get excited and then think what does it matter the players are going to be banned anyway and we’re fked like I did preseason 2013 and 2014 or in the case of the last 2 years there was NOTHING to even be excited about as the players were banned both times for the preseason.
Not since preseason 2012 v Brisbane at PP have I just looked forward to turning up and watching whats on the field still being on that field for the real stuff this year and beyond.

You’d think we’d be in a good position to have a win but honestly, this is bigger than a win/loss result. It’s just great to have our boys on the park competing again, doing what they love with no dark cloud above their heads.

yeah… teams will be keen to get to the second string rotation of Parish, Stants and Myers… or perhaps they would prefer the third rotation of Hocking, Zaharakis and Goddard…
I’m getting pretty giddy just thinking about it actually. I don’t think we are going to be groaning at a starting midfield trio all season… such are the options woosha has.
