Seriously, … is it just me,… or has the Weather become incredibly unpredictable this “Summer”?
You usually get a big HP system roll over, providing fine pleasant days with sea breezes for the first few, … then very little wind and getting hotter, … then a few days of high heat as the wind comes off the interior, … then a massive Thunderstorm riddled cool change and then the process starts over again.
I don’t think I’ve seen that pattern occur at all since December once.
Yesterday, …they said tomorrow and Friday were supposed to be dry, . now there’s showers forecast for both days, and Sat Sun Mon & Tues are supposed to be, … but they said the same thing last week about 4 days in a row being fine 3 days out, … and then NOT ONE of them was.
Tonight we watched the black clouds roll in and cover the sky and thought oh sht. Then the rain absolutely pelted down for ten minutes stopped and then came the hail. Fortunately, nothing broken and it lasted no more then 13 minutes.
However last night, thunderstorms and started several small fires on Black Jack Mountain again. The RFS put them out quickly but there are still trees smouldering in the rain. Put the wind up a lot of people.
Was lovely out on the bike today and a lot less people traffic getting in the way like at the weekend. Tomorrow looks like it’s going to be even better. Forecast to be sunny with light winds in the arvo. This jobless lark is a breeze.
