WWE have admitted defeat by the looks of today’s Raw.
Spoilers below…
Hunter came out and said that due to the controversy(?) surrounding Reigns’ Rumble win, he was going to make him defend his WM title shot at Fast Lane, against the winner of Rollins and Bryan (which he scheduled for later that night).
Bryan then defeated Rollins (with an assist from Reigns) and will now face Reigns for the right to fight Lesnar at WM
-Reigns wins clean seemlingly making him look ‘strong’ and dominant for the Beast
-Reigns heel turn with Heyman assisting Reigns with the win
-Double countout/D.Q. with both going in the main event of WM.
-Ziggler gets jealous of Bryan, costs him the match. Ziggler v Bryan at WM with Ziggler being the heel.
Sure, there are lots of options as noted above, and I only skimmed a transcript and didn’t watch it, but what the hell was the incentive for HHH to give Bryan anything?
And please don’t say he’s swerving us by pretending to be fair and will screw Bryan next week. That’s just stupid.
The scene at the Rumble where Heyman offered Lesnar’s services to handle Sting (and any other problems the Authority has) also remains a major loose end.

I'm not sure I'd look at it as as admitting defeat, moreso realising they haven't booked Reigns well and attempting to salvage Vince's "new guy". They're certainly trying, but their version of trying is the same way they've booked Cena numerous times by having him attempt to glom the heat off the "hot" guy, or at best look more favourable by appearing with the hot talent. So he's saved Bryan from Rollins, who Rusev aside probably derives the most heel heat, he's tagging with Bryan and I fully expect Vince to attempt to get Reigns some of the rub, by showcasing he's better than "your favourite" by having Reigns defeat him clean, or possibly have guys attempt to attack Bryan and have Reigns chase them off, because he wants to win "fair" and most importantly when Reigns wins, have Bryan put him over to the crowd. I'd be surprised if Bryan ends up tin the Mania main, purely because of who Vince is. If he doesn't rate Bryan as a talent and he evidently doesn't, I can see how it'd make sense to switch routes with Big Dave an already made guy, but not with Reigns who it is rumoured he sees as his post-Cena "guy", and especially not when Reigns-Lesnar was pretty much booked as last year's Mania finished.
Head over to BigFooty (I know, I know but they have tons more wrestling fans over there) and check out the 40 odd page thread on the Network, I don’t personally subscribe but I know there are a fair chunk of their regular wrestling posters that do, so you ought to find a bunch of different opinions on its worth and find people better versed in answering your questions.
I remember reading a basic review when the network went live and from memory the vast majority of PPVs from WWE/WCW, possibly ECW as well I can’t recall, are available aside from some side PPVs like a few of the minor PPVs they ran in Britain (eg. InsurreXtion) and I wouldn’t think Over the Edge '99 would be there for obvious reasons. You’d have to trawl around in that BF thread to find the answer to the 2nd question, they allocated network time to '93 era RAWs when it first started, not sure how many individual eps you can watch via On Demand though.
In other news, the Bushwhackers will officially be announced as being inducted to the 2015 Hall of Fame tonight, so by Australian/Kiwi celebrity adoption standards we’ve got our first WWE Hall of Famers.
I ended up getting it. Its pretty cool. They have every wwe PPV ever(including Over the Edge 1999 which suprised me)’ tonnes of ecw and wcw ppv’s.
The only dissapointing thing would be the lack of raws and smackdowns. Each year has about 5 or 6 from each year. Except the year 2000 does not have even one episode of raw which sucks.
Watched fast lane yesterday. Easily the worst PPV i have ever seen, the crowd was terrible, just barely any noise at all. the HHH and Sting segment was easily the best part of the show. Bryan/reigns was good, but if vince thinks Reigns is ready to main event WM he is kidding himself.
Bray Wyatt had a very good promo. He and Taker should be a very good match imo.
I watched Fastlane yesterday, first full bit of content I’ve watched since the attitude era. I’m kinda just fascinated at the product lately from the sidelines, it’s this thing everyone hates but can’t leave.
So people don’t like Roman on the mic, but is he even a good wrestler? Bryan was way more fun to watch.
In more important news, Krakerjak claimed the MCW heavyweight title on Saturday night at the Ukranian Hall in Essendon. Happy with that, he’s freakin’ awesome.
This is the only time of year I pay attention to wrestling.
Having said that, I think the likely WM card is looking alright. Based on what’s being foreshadowed, this is looking likely (with more to come perhaps)
Lesnar v Reigns
Cena v Rusev
Rollins v Orton
Taker v Wyatt
Goldust v Stardust
Andre Battle Royal
Bryan v Ziggler
Sting v HHH
That doesn’t look like a half bad card to me, especially considering how rubbish WWE appears to have been lately.

Will Bryan/Ziggler be on the pre-show, and will Kane and Big Show do a walk-in and cost Bryan the win by KO-ing Ziggler?
