They got Hardy instead of Rollins, but I reckon Smackdown still won this shakedown handily. The tag team division is gonna be lit.

Hope they treat Almas like a big deal.

SDL roster is great, they just gotta get their booking together.

NXT is still by far the better show out of all of them.

■■■■ Punch Nakamura is already the GOAT

Also…

Aren’t some of you bastardos at MCW right now? I’m at D28 tonight and tomorrow.

Indi is sooooooo getting killed by Kellyanne tomorrow night.

I went on Friday night. Cracking show.

How was Saturday?

Saturday was definitely better, partially because of more storyline involvement. You still got Mustache Mountain and Bruiserweight and Storm and Havoc (the latter in a much more entertaining match than on Friday).

Dunne vs Slex was awesome.

And NEW heavyweight champion, Mr Juicy. Was a nuanced double turn, with Dowie donning the crimson mask.

JXT eliminated Sexton to win the Brawl itself, hence setting up ex-tag-team-mates meeting for the title somewhere down the line.

Impact’s first real PPV in a while was very decent. If watching try to do so without getting spoiled!

That was an …interesting? Event

Seemed to be a glorified house show. No title changes apart from “vacant” losing the RAW tag titles

So was Global Warning here really, similar sort of deal never toured there vs. hadn’t been here in 20+ years, 50k or so crowd, they packed the card with more top tier talent than a normal house show, but the end results are exactly the same.

Being at Global Warning the crowd thoroughly enjoyed the event, and without having seen the thing I would presume the Saudis probably enjoyed seeing WWE live for the first time.

That being said, Vince has to be laughing all the way to the bank with the millions they paid him for this - to book a double count-out finish to a major title match in front of a 50k crowd in your first event in the country is just taking the ■■■■, and then to follow that up with another screwy finish to your other title match is just ■■■■■■■■ on the crowd.

And only in Vince fantasies is anyone hanging out for a 3rd Braun-Reigns match within 6 months.

What an ordinary show.

Crowd killed anything they got half right.

Card was OK but never reached any great heights. May be remembered as the greatest show ever on the back of Titus’ epic entry tho

Didn’t watch the show, but just realized (and assuming it is due to Saudi law/customs) but there were no female matches or any women involved in the show at all

Women’s revolution!

The commentators absolutely corpsing over it was the best bit. Maffew is going to “send for the man”.

Also, the neverending Reigns/Lesnar fued continues to be a royal clusterfark. The “match” is again the apparently mandatory spamming of finishers (they even made that point on commentary by detailing the exact counts). They set up the match by explicitly saying “both feet must hit the ground” to win by escaping, and the commentators are moronic apologists given the declared winner of the match is CLEARLY wrong per those rules.

They might try to turn that botch into a work, but it won’t actually work.
