Really scratching the bottom of the barrel for AFL news at the moment. They actually got Edmund in the studio and talked this up as a big thing.

If we were desperate enough to approach Ryder then I have no trouble believing we approached Sandilands. I’m just very glad the club wasn’t stupid enough to offer a two year contract.
I think Tom Boyd has been very clear in saying that he has absolutely 0 interest in playing AFL again.

We should have ponied up on Sandilands.
2 years, even if he taught from the sidelines for the duration, is well worth it.
Not sure about Sandilands ruck teaching skills.

Not fussed that he can’t kick Richmonds team aren’t full of good kicks they just hack the ball fwd any way they can.
Some one like Hrovat will add toughness,tackling, contested winning ability.
I think we have enough decent kicks in our team cover his defeancies

You know how everyone laments the lack of size in the midfield? Hrovat makes it worse, if he was to get a game. Which he wouldn’t.
No wonder St Kilda are a basket case. Delist a solid midfielder who was on their leadership group only for Carlton to pounce…
