Yes but we wont get top 10 picks for trading those players aint worth it

So, you actually dont want to trade those players then?

Not unless we get top 10 picks.

I’m not here nor-there on Wright.

I think if we trade Draper, would could potentially get by with Bryan and Wright as a second ruck option.

I think he could be useful as a back up ruck.

We need some decent small forwards, we have half a list full of guys who either stink it up or can’t get a game.

So, just to be absolutely clear, the players you listed

Wright
Shiel
Hobbs or Tastas
Cox
Stringer
Laverde

The only way your moving these guys on, is if we get top 10 picks for them?

Not those guys im talking about the blokes ants mentioned guys like redman, mcgrath etc

5 man bench means two ruckmen, because only have 4 ā€œlive subsā€ means not being able to take the risk.

I’d consider letting both Shiel and Stringer go just to get some balance into the team.

Don’t consider letting go guys who’ve just signed long contracts unless we, and they, get a massive offer that makes it worth our while. Not just a delisting.

Wright would be an exception. He was a cat at the Suns, and except for 21-22, he’s been a cat with us.

Hobbs might be better served elsewhere because he just clogs up our small midfielder stocks. Tsatas stays, at least for another year.

Offload Weideman, Hind, Laverde (if possible), Goldstein, Heppell, rookie one of the Daveys which means Tex may have to go so we can keep El Hawli and Hunter.

Probably only leaves us 5 or 6 vacant list spots and not too many rookie spots.

We need a Kako, and an aggressive key forward who can kick. But there are said to be up to 9 quality midfielders, and we might take one if he a. is aggressive, b. above 185cm, c. quick and d. is a good kick. Won’t worry about the good family or spelling of gatorade.

And suggestions of letting Langford, Draper, Bryan or Ridley go…GFY

Depending on their medical prognoses, Baldwin and Hunter might be on thin ice. And check out Reid at the same time.

But primarily, Dodoro is either told to FRO or they tell him the wrong time or room for drafting and recruiting meetings, and he’s told that re-signings must go through all of Scott, Rosa, Vozzo etc.

What part of this isn’t a full rebuild?

It is a rebuild but im not trading the likes of redman, mcgrath, ridley etc if we dont get top 10 picks i dont see the point

Ants?

He didn’t say anything. @Preliminary_Point2 pointed out the irony of the fact you dont want a rebuild and you listed 13 players you’d move on.

You then said you would only move those players on for top 10 picks. You might want to look at the players you listed again

So you happy to trade the decent players we have for packet of chips?

Direct swap with what we want + picks.

Yes i would move on the players i mentioned but the decent ones we have that everyone Is hell bent on trading like redman i wont unless they are top 10 picks

How many hours have you wasted arguing against a rebuild?

I’m not against a rebuild i just think we dont have anyone of value that could fetch us a top 10 pick apart from merret and parish.
