Given our picks and Richmondās, we will need to offer 3 firsts for Reid or 2 and a decent player.
Tiger picks are not relevant either way. If he nominates us, Tigers are out of picture. Likewise if he nominates them, it wonāt matter how many picks we have.

My take on the Ruck situation is I want Goldy rucking in the VFL. CB Focus. Building these young on ballers.
Around the ground the young blokes can cover.
I donāt think we can find a ruck mid season who can AFL Ruck most of a game?

I like the idea to get an AFL ruck on the fringe at the end of the year as back up. A bit like Goldy but younger. Or maybe a good ruckman looking for a change.

Why do we do this to ourselves? I would love Reid but surely weāre just setting ourselves up for disappointment. Why would he choose us? Sure he has friends here but heās also friends with Bailey Smith and probably half a dozen players from every other club. It would be a dream to see him in red and black but Iām afraid itās only a pipedream.

Not just friends, best friends (friend).
Has a relationship with the coach and trained at the club so knows the team.
And maybe he and his management think weāre finally taking the right steps for sustained success.
When we finally turn the corner and win some finals this will club will go crazy. Heroes will be made!!

I think given west coast will hold 1 and 2. If they get 2 further first rounders they may trade back something in the draft they wonāt use.
So if itās with us that could help land the academy? Kids we have on the go?

West Coast have picks 1 or 2 or are you saying they have 2 firsts already? They have Hawks 1st this year which will obviously be in the teens.
I think 1 and 2 is assuming Allen gets band 1 compensation.
