Honestly,
At the end of the day we probably should look to trading as many senior blokes as possible now.
We are screwed for the next 2-4 years at least, so bring in as much young talent as you can in that time.
Keep Merrett, Durham, Martin, Caldwell and make them the leaders that drive the younger guys forward.

Heās not overrated. He could absolutely be a difference maker to a premiership threat.
We always hang on to players that are like this when we really need the meat and potatoes consistent types first to set our structural team base around.
Until we have that thereās no point keeping players like Draper. Hence why we got rid of Stringer as well.
The fact is he also has a serious injury history and yet to play a single season unhindered by some issue. Itās a serious ongoing concern for a club that canāt afford these types anymore.

Iāve heard itās fine, that the quality drop off isnāt until 2nd round.
And that there just isnāt the elite top pick standout number 1 but there is still heaps of talent.
Heaps of good players available for us.

Spot on mate, so many people are loving the look of Huss and Sweid and at the moment they are second round prospects at best yet people are carrying on saying itās a weak draft.
Itās a shallow draft but if we are taking a large whack of our picks in the first round and following it up with those two NGA boys we will be in for a great haul
