there is a world where Hawthorn get Merrett + Humphrey

Ess get Hawthorns 2026 1st, 2026 2nd, 2027 1st, 2028 1st, Gold Coast 2027 1st + Charlie Ballard

Gold Coast gets Ridley + picks to balance out somehow

Thats too one sided, surely Gold coast get Ridley + Merrett in that scenario

Suns knocked back a first plus Petracca for Humphrey last year

Suns Merrett, Ridley (dons pay contracts),
Hawks Humphrey
Efc Hawks 1st + Hawks 2027 1st, Hawks 2028 1st + Ballard
Would enquire on Jeffrey also.

probably closer.

Today’s episode of Gettable:

  • Butters the big domino with Dogs the favourite. Geelong next. Richmond astronomical and simpler. Richmond’s offer is worth around 18-20mil. Collingwood are trying for him as well.

  • Ben King, a lot of talk to sign with Gold Coast but hasn’t happened. King is keeping it close to his chest. Might still take some time. Geelong have some interest with King but Hawks look like a favourite should he decide to leave. Still expected to stay.

  • Zac Bailey, has Brisbane expecting him to stay.

  • Jordan Butts, has a four year deal from Adelaide for some time. Dogs and now North Melbourne have interest for him as a potential FA. If Butts stays, attention will then move to Nick Murray from rival clubs. Adelaide may also consider Charlie Ballard should one of their defensive options move.

  • Tassie Devils, have added about four players to their list of twenty odd draftees of interest following Pilot/Salopek nominating Port for 2027.

  • Does Essendon deserve an assistance package? Both Riley Beveridge and Twomey agree. Twomey reckons Essendon will look to ask for a model similar to West Coast’s last year with a potential end of first round pick as capital to trade for an experienced player. Twomey stated that there isn’t a stack of prospects vying for top pick outside of HVH at the moment (Walker/Cochrane aside).

  • GWS: Hogan has a two year deal he is still weighing up, Riccardi has a multi year deal he is still weighing up, no formal offer for Gruzewski. Greene weighing up interest from Victoria with an offer for three years from GWS. Tom Greene has a seven year deal offered about 1.3mil a season. Likely makes him the most paid inside pure midfielder. Tassie still has sights on him.

  • Richmond: Have no concerns to sign Sam Lalor for an extension. Still to make some commitment to some of their father/sons in the upcoming draft.

  • Arti Jones is somewhat Gettable. Strong interest from other clubs. Offer from Dogs.

  • Darcy Wilson, also Gettable. Gut feel is ultimately he stays. Interest from many sides.

  • Rowan Marshall. Gettable. Second fiddle ruck not having the same impact this season. Geelong aren’t as interested as much as they were the last two seasons.

  • Jacob Hopper, is a big Gettable. Three years left to run on his deal but a move would not warrant much trade value.

  • Hayden Mclean still Gettable. One of Ammartey or Mclean is expected to stay at Sydney.

  • Calsher Dear, is hard to see leaving but called partially Gettable due to being out of contract. If Mitch Lewis stays goven four year contract in front, this may impact Dear’s decisions.

  • Charlie Ballard, absolutely Gettable. Key defender carousel.

  • Joel Jeffries, has a contract until 2028. Has interest from clubs but no certainty he leaves. St Kilda has been flagged as a club interested in him.

  • Michael Selwood. Not gettable. Close to new contract.

  • Charlie Edwards, is growing Gettable. Third year with no regular time in the side.

  • Patrick Cripps, still Gettable. Depending on new coach and hasn’t closed the door on a potential move, despite some more recent conversations from Graham Wright.

  • Finn O’Sullivan. Not Gettable just yet. He has an offer in front of him from Norf but also strong interest from Tassie.

  • Bailey Humphry, is Gettable and wantable. Interest from Collingwood, Hawks, Carlton, Dees. Carlton offered a deal of five years over a million per season last year. Gold Coast are adamant he isn’t going anywhere.

  • Hawks still want Humphry AND Merrett.

  • Jed Walter, still Gettable. Generated a lot of interest from Victorian clubs in particular. Weighing up future.

  • Tom Sparrow, somewhat Gettable as he still weighs things up. Belief he will assess in the next month.

  • Elijah Tsatas. Absolutely Gettable. Will have a run at it given injuries in the side.

  • Darcy Parish. Gettable. If you are Essendon, you should be open to everything this year. A new coach, a new looking midfield potentially that you can build around. Still a few years left on his contract. Will weigh up potential deals that would work.

  • Jack Scrimshaw. Gettable. FA at the end of next year.

  • Kai Lohman, contracted until end of 2027 with the Lions. Don’t expect him to be Gettable this year. Victorian teams will weigh up.

  • Rhyan Mansell. Gettable. Tassie Devils loom very, very large for Mansell. May look at a one year deal.

  • Blake Acres, is Gettable. Looking at his options with a year to go on his deal. Unsure about a market for him.

  • Luke Pedlar. Gettable. A real watch on him in the back half of this year. Brisbane were a watch last year.

I liked him in his draft year, was very tight with Archie Roberts.

Would like Jack Scrimshaw for a bit of defensive leadership down there

Other way round. They expect him to leave for Adelaide.

Fwiw I have been told Adelaide have been very confident for some time now.

Yeah, they have been very confident for near on 12 months.

But with Neale gone, will be easier for Lions to match.

The paper would be extremely thin and prone to tearing I think!

They have got others who need to be topped up and the Crows are offering a fair bit more

Dogs have been into him. I think he chooses them if he decides to leave Adelaide. But I would love him at the Bombers. Exactly what our backline needs; an honest one on one defender.

Darcy parish liking QLD real estate ads on insta.

Are we going to bundle up all the senior guys to Brisbane and Gold Coast
