Geelong would laugh at us.

No thanks. Incredibly slow and very limited athletically.

Yeah I’m not sure having picked up Dyson Sharp and Sullivan Robey that the guy we should be after is George Stevens.

The Trade Whispererer.

No disrespect to Nguyen, but would the Tig’s actually take him? I hope he makes it at Essendon, but he’d be a borderline delisting if it weren’t for his Cat B status.

Yeah it’s ridiculous when there is a new coach coming in a matter of weeks, but that’s never stopped these braindead pages posting garbage for clicks

Happy we didn’t get him and hopefully we drove up his price enough to put a cap squeeze on the Suns

They’ll want to offload him with a first round pick, in a year or 2….. because they’ve f*cked their salary cup.

I know they’ll lose King and probably Humphrey but Petracca, Rowell and Anderson wouldn’t be getting paid peanuts.

I thought they were under cap pressure this year already

They offloaded Fiorini’s huge contract, so they’re ok.

He got the Ben King money.

He has a crack and never gives up, the only knock being his disposal, which surely will improve. We need more like him.

So easy it took multiple meetings with rival clubs and half the season to get done!! :joy:

Our midfield group are going to be depleted after trade period ends. I expect Merrett, Tsatas and Setterfield to be gone. Yes we get back Martin (not convinced he’s a fulltime mid) but it could mean moving McGrath back into the middle, which could free up the small defender position down back for Nguyen to take. He’s got ability and could also move forward and be a pressure forward for us too. He stays for mine…

Yeah. Def looks like he’s being developed into a pressure forward. Not a great kick on goal (struggles at anything over 30m or so), but he’s fast and can put people into the dirt. We need that kinda thing up front.

I don’t think it’s that unrealistic to suggest caddy would be on over $1.5m next year. There is absolutely no one at the club who could be on huge coin

We already had a lot of cash up our sleeve for next year. Now with Merrett, Ridley and potentially parish leaving and no one who isn’t mediocre willing to come to us, we have no one else to spend big on

Wait… THE SUNS are his childhood club? Jesus.

Makes sense though. Being from GC he would have been 4 when they came in.

It’s a disturbing time line that a professional footballer could have GC as their childhood club.
