Trade talk - from October 2025 (Part 10)

They can take Ridley

And Parish

You’re a good poster and I rate your contributions @Odoyle but your thinly veiled love of Geelong SICKENS ME.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.

I know.

It’s a problem. A few connections to that club has perhaps led to some admiration/jealousy.

Yeh let’s keep Parish for another year if it means a pick 7 type trade next year. Obvious Darcy has a small say in it lol

Any chance they’re interested in McKay & Redman as well?

On the weekend, Billy Dowling caught my eye…he’s crept his way into the same mental region occupied by Alex Davies and Sam Marshall.

And if we chased Boston Dowling plus Billy Dowling, the thread title would have a clearer direction…

Isn’t one of the main issues next year that the open pool will be significantly diminished due to TAS prelistings?

Myth

They’ve been getting younger for a while.

Polkinghorne, M Holmes, Edwards, Clark, O’Sullivan, De Koning, Humphries, Wiltshire, Neale, Mullin

Even O Henry and Smith

And the bloke with the ACL they’ve stashed away - Hunter something

Alot of water to go under the bridge, but think it will help us match bids on our NGA’s if necessary. If Bewick and Darwish keep playing the way they are and don’t pre-list with Tassie, and the 8 players tassie pre-list are taken out of the draft pool, Bewick and Darwish could end up being very high picks.

Also the with the insertion of the Tassie picks it pushes down our second round pick points value so harder to try and match a high bid for either player or both.

If we run this way and trade for the pick from Tassie, it might effectively be Parish and paying his wages from our cap for Bewick.

We would have an abundance of good talent coming in the year that we get bent over especially hard trying to match… ■■■■ this league tbh

Plus Barker who I rate highly hasn’t even played yet

He was the last one with the ACL.

Yeah but The downside is that we have to keep him for another year.

and if he’s playing another year of VFL….. he ain’t worth a first rounder, not even for Tasmania’s standards
