Best chuckle for the day that is!
Thank you

A couple of years ago I thought Lav could develop into another Stringer type in the forward line but from his time there he showed he finds it hard to actually make the play.

Hopefully with his experience in the backline he‘a learned a bit more about how to go about it as a forward. I hope it’s a positive move for both him and the team because his spot down back is not a given with Ried and Mackay coming in.

As you say at least he’ll make a contest wherever he plays.

There was one game when we played…port Adelaide? pretty certain it was the final game of the season, missed out on finals and we beat them convincingly.

Edit 2018 round 23 vs port and yeah he only kicked 3

I’d be amazed if he kicked 3 goals ever.
He’s not a good footballer guys.
Good for effort, which is optional at Essendon and hence why he has fans on here, but if we want to be better than 15th he has no spot in the team.

I believe in Lav

I want my Lav on Top.

Kick the ball 8 times.

For me Langford is taking Jones’s spot atm.
He’s not a CHF. At his best he’s an honest third tall, with good skills who hits the logos hard.

From memory, he was a horrid kick for goal.

Kick 8 blades of glass. By accident.

Must be talking about the bags he handed out the year he won the reverse Coleman.
F(uk this clubs sucks…

He’s kicked 3 before at AFL level, he’s not a spud.

Yeah he has round 23 2018 vs port he kicked three.

The fact that Laverde is being thrown forward again, and is a better option that Weid or Jones is an absolute indictment on the list.

Yep, one thing we can all agree on is our entire season is cooked if 2metre goes down again for a significant chunk.

It is, fingers crossed Caddy comes good

This is how the Black Team lined up today:

B: McGrath McKay Reid
HB: Martin Ridley Redman
C: Duursma Durham Tsatas
HF: Stringer Jones Gresham
F: Langford Wright Perkins
R: Goldstein Parish Merrett

So the other spots are up for grabs

Bench Midfield Spot 1: Setterfield
Bench Midfield Spot 2: Caldwell vs Hobbs
Bench Forward Spot 3: Hind vs Menzie
Bench Backline Spot 4: Heppell vs Cox vs Lav

If Draper is fit he probably takes Jones’ spot, or if Caddy is firing in the VFL he will push for a spot.

Just subbing in structurally for Caddy?

The two draftt brothers with same body types reunite in the forward line. I love it.
